Is it just me or do all of the pre-made WordPress themes suck? I’m not a graphic designer, stylesheet, or straight-up HTML guru, which makes it very hard to put together a nice-looking website.

I found this theme, which is one of the better ones I’ve seen so far. Two problems: the content does not have a fluid width, and it doesn’t allow sidebar widgets. I might do a little tweaking on it and see what I can whip up. In the meantime, if anyone knows of a simple, fluid-width WordPress theme that supports sidebar widgets, let me know.

I’m very surprised and honored to receive “The Gnome” from the first annual Nerfbat MMO Blog Awards for “Best New Blog”. Competition was stiff. It’s fun to know that at least a few people like to hear my opinions, be they rant or rave.
